1. Acceptance of Terms

By browsing, accessing, registering for, or scheduling sessions on the AITutor platform ("Platform", "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Services Provided

AITutor provides personalized, 1-on-1 software engineering and AI tutoring services, live pair-programming sessions, codebase reviews, architecture walkthroughs, and technical career mentorship. Tutoring sessions are delivered by vetted senior technical mentors and software engineers.

3. Intellectual Property and Student Code Ownership

We respect your intellectual property rights:

• Complete Ownership: Students and clients retain full and exclusive ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights in all source code, models, architecture diagrams, and repositories shared or developed during tutoring sessions.
• Confidentiality: Mentors inspect student code exclusively for educational, debugging, and advisory purposes. We never publish, monetize, license, or disclose student code to third parties, nor do we use proprietary student code to train automated public machine learning models.

4. Tutor Onboarding, Standards & Identity Verification

To ensure student safety, technical excellence, and platform integrity, individuals applying to become verified mentors on AITutor must pass a technical portfolio audit and complete one-time identity verification. Identity checks are conducted securely via our authorized compliance partner. Providing false or misleading credentials is grounds for immediate termination.

5. Pricing, Scheduling, and Rescheduling Policy

All mentorship fees are clearly stated in USD (or local currency equivalent) and must be confirmed prior to session commencement:

• Sprint & Project Sessions: Sessions are scheduled collaboratively based on mentor and student availability.
• Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled up to 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time at no additional charge.
• Refunds: Once a 1-on-1 pair-programming session has taken place, fees for that completed time are non-refundable. For multi-session project tracks, unused hours may be credited or rescheduled within 6 months.

6. Educational & Technical Disclaimer

Mentorship sessions and technical recommendations provide professional engineering guidance and educational insight. While our mentors are senior industry practitioners, advice does not constitute an express commercial warranty against latent software bugs, production outages, or security vulnerabilities in student projects. Students remain responsible for their own deployment, testing, and production environments.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A1 Tutoring Private Limited, its directors (Manjunath Krishnappa, Manjit Singh Kumar, Ajeetkumar Patil Shakargauda, Jyoti Baburao Hargapure), employees, and independent mentors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of the platform. In all cases, aggregate liability is strictly limited to the fees actually paid by you for the specific mentorship session giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
